Laxmi Narayan Hospital is named after our beloved grandparents, Smt. Laxmi Bai and Shri Narayan Das, people of very strong principals and character. They contributed a lot to the society in their own ways. It was their vision of providing quality health care at affordable cost that lead to the inception and birth of this health care facility.
The Chairman Dr. Ashish Gupta did his graduation (MBBS) and post-graduation (MD Medicine) from Government Medical College, Jabalpur. He did super specialization (DM Oncology) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He took training in both autologous and allogenic bone marrow transplantation. He served as faculty at one of the most prestigious oncology centre of India.
He saw the sufferings of cancer and blood disease patients due to lack of qualified people and lack of health care facilities of Mahakaushal region and decided to come back to his homeland to reduce the sufferings. Although highly educated, qualified and successful, he decided to bring meaning to his life beyond money and decided to come back to his homeland Jabalpur. To serve humanity, improve the healthcare of its people and contribute and return back to society and add value to what he has learnt over the years.
Laxmi Narayan Hospital had a humble start in 2010 as a day care center for cancer patients. In 2014, Dr. Prashant Jain joined the mission and laid the foundation of hospital. The hospital came into life in 2015 with blessings of his father Dr. M.G. Gupta.
In a short span of two years Laxmi Narayan Hospital achieved many milestones. Performed more than 300 cancer surgical procedures successfully, did first port insertion, established the only interventional radiology facility in entire Mahakaushal region where in all forms of interventional radiological procedures are being performed regularly. Brought new dimensions to Oncologic care both diagnostically and therapeutically. The hospital started broad speciality operations in 2017 and expanded as a multi specialty hospital.
